Gaby Mini Diva

Gaby Ramirez was born on July 13th, 1995 in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley in California. According to her parents, she began singing about the time she could talk. She always loved to perform and daily put on shows for her parents and her grandparents. The fireplace was her stage and a candle was her microphone. This is how it all began.

Gaby spent much of her time with her grandparents, as both of her parents worked. They had a huge impact on her life. Music always filled their home, especially in the kitchen when Grandma was cooking. Gaby fell in love witht the Latin sounds she heard, especially the Mariachi music. Every day she sang along to the radio while her grandma prepared the daily meals.

Her big debut was at her grandfather's 70th birthday. She informed the family that she was going to give her grandfather a very special gift. She was going to sing a song for him, not just any song, but his favorite. Gaby practiced every day in her Nino Rick's garage, preparing for the big event. Finally, the day came and she brought him to tears with her rendition of Tu Solo Tu.

It was also at this moment that her parents realized what she born to do, SING!!! Gaby started voice lessons and then added violin and dance. This wasn't enough, so she added piano too! She joined the Maiachi Academy in Porterville. Every spare minute was spent studying music. Soon, she began to perform at weddings, quinceneras, and other private events. She sang in her church choir. She sang at local fairs and public events.
